Jack Nagler became Vice-President of ONO in 2021.
Jack has been the English Services Ombudsman at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation since January 2019.
Prior to that, he was CBC’s Director of Journalistic Public Accountability and Engagement for five years, responsible for developing editorial policies. In 2018, he helped update CBC’s Journalistic Standards and Practices. He has also served on the Ethics Committee of the Canadian Association of Journalists.
Other leadership roles at CBC include stints as a senior producer at both The World at Six and The National; executive producer for all of CBC’s international coverage; and Managing Editor, Radio News. He spent six years in CBC’s parliamentary bureau covering federal politics – first as a field producer and later as a senior producer with CBC Newsworld, a forerunner of the CBC News Network.
